FOLLOWING the Boxing Day draw with rivals St Ives Town, St Neots ended 2007 on a high note with an impressive win against high-flying Rangers.
Iain Parr's men worked hard from start to finish and welcomed Paul Bloss back to the club for the first time since he left for Arlesey in 2004.
The winning goal came five minutes before half-time when Kevin Byrne and Ryan Francis combined to set up Luigi Rocco to drive home.

St Neots continued to battle hard and although keeper Jon Chatfield was called into action a couple of times, the home defence stood firm.
Rangers did fashion a late chance through Adam Weston but his volley sailed over the crossbar.
# Next up for St Neots is the tough-looking visit of Boston Town on Saturday.
