ST NEOTS and St Ives both recorded wins last night as they sought to catch up the fixture backlog caused by the weather.

ROTHWELL CORINTHIANS 0-2 ST NEOTS TOWN

Neots returned to the top of the table with a 2-0 win at Rothwell Corinthians.

Dan Jacobs extended his impressive scoring record for Saints, finishing after being fed by Liam Harrold in the second half.

Dan French tied up the win for an impressive Neots side with his first goal for the club after another assist from Harrold.

WOOTTON BLUE CROSS 1-2 ST IVES TOWN

St Ives advanced to the Third Round of the UCL League Cup with a 2-1 victory over Wootton Blue Cross, conquerors of St Neots Town in the previous round.

Declan Rogers put Ives ahead midway through the first half, but Wootton hit back shortly after the interval.

New signing Nicky Hurst claimed the win for Ives with a late goal to put Ives in the ideal frame of mind for Saturday's FA Vase tie against AFC Shildon.
