Bottom of the pack Needingworth who had been without a win all season tore the form book to pieces when they beat third in the table Shelford who needed the win to stay in second spot. Also in Kershaw Premier Eaton Socon were sent crashing to a 5-0 home defeat to Waterbeach.

Elsewhere Hemingford fell 2-1 at home to Cherry Hinton, Brampton suffered a 4-0 loss to Whittlesford but Great Paxton took the spoils when they visited Somersham and returned with a 4-1 win.

Eaton Socon Reserves took the points from Barton Mills with a 2-1 win, Hemingford Reserves lost 3-2 to Ely and took a 2-1 loss from their game against Wisbech.

Somersham Reserves kept up their challenge for the runners up spot in BIS 2B with a fine 6-2 win over Wisbech St Mary's, Godmanchester Rovers Reserves won 1-0 against Milton Reserves and Needingworth Reserves took a point from a 2-2 draw against Stretham Hotspur.

In the Peterborough Premier title race Alconbury tidied up their season with a good 3-1 win against Parsons Drove and will look to finish a very creditable sixth and Ramsey still sit on top although they had no game at the week-end.

In Vauxhall 2 Sawtry look to have secured third spot after a 3-3 draw at SSPIO but Alconbury Reserves look certain to be relegated after crashing to a 3-0 defeat to Whittlesey Reserves.
