NEEDINGWORTH secured their third successive win thanks to a good bowling performance which restricted Abbots Ripton to 118 from their 40 overs.
The Needingworth attack was spearheaded by Glenn Morris, whose fine performance was rewarded with a season's best of 5 for 18.
Morris was ably backed up by Grant Biddle (3-33) and Alan Phillips (1-24). Needingworth's batting reply stuttered at first but thanks to some big hitting from Russ Kirk (24) and Barry Stimson (29), and a patient 36 not out from Mark Sirot-Smith, they achieved their target in the 31st over.
