Two Huntingdon talents claimed a notable success at the 54th National Youth Sailing Regatta recently.
Tom Proctor (helm) and Henry Hutchinson (crew) teamed up to win the Mount Haes Trophy when representing Cambridgeshire at Gorleston and Great Yarmouth Sailing Club on the east coast.
The two 17 year-olds, both members of Huntingdon Sailing Club, came through a series of qualifying races and a semi-final before triumphing in the final.
Proctor said: “It was brilliant to win in front of our Cambridgeshire team, who were all supporting us from the beach.”
