Reigning champion Rupert Deeth collected two podium finishes in the second round of the Mini Miglia Championship.
The Huntingdon racer started the opening race at Norfolk circuit Snetterton recently on pole position, but all the action took place on the opening lap of a wet contest with Deeth dropping to third place behind two other Cambridgeshire drivers - winner Lee Deegan (Soham) and runner-up Kane Astin (Swaffham Bulbeck).
He started the second race from that position but went on to enjoy two spells in the lead before being denied victory when passed on the final lap by Deegan, who completed a double.
Deeth sits fifth in the overall standings after taking a third place and suffering a retirement in the opening round at Pembrey Circuit in Wales.
The series continues this weekend at Thruxton.
