St Neots fighter Tommy Martin captured the vacant WBA Continental Light-welterweight title last night.
Martin extended his unbeaten record to 13 fights with a final-round stoppage of Michael Devine at the O2 Arena in London.
The 21 year-old dominated throughout against his Luton opponent and the referee finally stepped in after a barrage of blows in the last round.
Martin’s success will earn him a world ranking and should open the door for bigger fights ahead.
