Huntingdon Stags 35 Saffron Walden 5
HUNTINGDON Stags were in fine form and took the lead just two minutes into the game through Charlie Lee. Kacey Nicholls then marked his return from injury with a great try but Stags started to find it difficult to break past the visitors. They kept pressing though and Lee completed a hat-trick to give them a commanding 26-0 half-time lead.
Some missed tackles after the break allowed Harry Flowers to score for Saffron against the run of play, but the hosts soon replied with two tries from Bradley Revell and Joss Ward. Bal Dhital scored four conversions from six attempts to cap a great win for Stags.

Saffron Walden 0 Huntingdon Stags 0
STAGS were held to a goalless stalemate at Saffron Walden despite a good attacking first half. The visitors created numerous chances but lacked quality with the final touch as the hosts threatened to score on the counter. Stags spent much of the second half in their opponent's half and often fell just short of scoring. Stags had two disallowed tries and were left frustrated as Saffron held on for the win.
