Bishop's Stortford 0 St Neots U10 25
ST NEOTS romped to a 25-0 win against Bishop's Stortford with a strong all-round performance.
With the forwards providing a solid platform, the backs were rampant in attack. St Neots' five tries came from Curtis Bundy, Cameron Brown and captain Ben Tyler. Some committed tackling, especially from MoM Andrew Gulliver, prevented Bishop's Stortford getting off the mark and a last-minute try capped an excellent team performance.
Newmarket 15 St Neots U10 15
PLAYING their best rugby of the season, St Neots were unlucky not to take the win in a game they dominated.
Newmarket drew first blood, scoring a try from an early penalty. St Neots were quick to counter, however, with a well-worked try scored by captain Ben Tyler.
Newmarket scored quickly after before Tyler converted pressure into points with a steal on the opposition line.
Tyler completed his hat-trick, diving over after his forwards turned Newmarket over in the scrum. St Neots continued to pressure before Newmarket scored a long-range try against the run of play to secure the tie.
