Huntingdon Piranhas prospect Toby Norman stormed to victory in the Coventry Sprint Meet last Saturday.
The 11 year-old led his final race – a 200m individual medley - from start to finish while Connor Thacker (14) collected a bronze medal in his outing. Dominic Pauley (10), Alice Lawrence (11), Beatrice Pauley (12) and Skie Wallace (15) all reached the finals, based on performances across all four strokes, in their age groups.
Piranhas head coach John Richards said: “This is a really strong start to the racing season.
“I’m greatly encouraged by six swimmers reaching their finals and a total of 28 personal bests during the event. I’m looking forward to see what our young squad can accomplish this year.”
