Dragoon 2 Sapley Rovers 9
SAPLEY dominated the game from start to finish, despite falling behind to an early goal from Dragoon. Tony Peacock, Ben Heath, Dave Brooker and Rikki Marr gave Sapley a commanding lead before Dragoon pulled a goal back to leave the score 4-2 at half time.
After the break the visitors pressed home their dominance with Marr scoring a second-half hat-trick to increase his tally to four. Birri Gomez and a second for Peacock completed the rout.
Peacock is now flying to South Africa to represent England in the Homeless World Cup and everyone at Sapley Rovers wishes him the best of luck.
