BUSINESSES and individuals are being invited to take part in a charity golf day in aid of the Papworth Trust next month.
The event is to be held at Brampton Park Golf Club on Monday, September 10 and there are some still spaces available for teams of four.
The Hunts Post is supporting the event by sponsoring the seventh hole at the course - where golfer Jonathan Sharples hit a hole-in-one with a seven iron on 07/07/07, pictured.
The cost of entry is £55 per person, making a total of £220 for a team of four players. Any individuals wishing to enter will be assigned a team.
The day will include refreshments on arrival, 18 holes of golf, a buffet dinner, prize-giving ceremony with a charity auction featuring some attractive golf prizes.
All monies raised will go towards supporting the work of disability charity the Papworth Trust and its Saxongate Community Learning Centre in Huntingdon.
