Local round-up: Hemingfords snatch points at Soham

HEMINGFORDS United made the journey to Soham worthwhile with a 3-2 win.

The Kershaw A team earned all the points with a 3-2 win following a brace of goals from Andy Stubbington and a Karl Tomkinson strike in the closing stages.

Hemingfords United Reserves went down 3-0 to Littleport Town Reserves and the A team were beaten 4-2 by Chatteris Reserves.

Eaton Socon took a point from a 3-3 draw against Histon A but Needingworth crashed to a 7-0 defeat at the hands of West Wratting. Great Paxton managed a 3-3 draw at home to Sawston and Brampton salvaged a point in a 2-2 draw at Girton.

In the PFA Senior Cup Alconbury and Ramsey both recorded excellent wins to progress to the next round. Alconbury visited Deeping Sport and won 5-

1 and Ramsey entertained Stilton and won 2-0.
