Eunice Huntingdon have completed an honours double . . . and now they can make it a treble.

The Peterborough & District League Division Four champions added the League Shield to their collection with victory in the final last Saturday.

They beat league runners-up Stamford Lions A 5-2 in a showpiece clash staged at the Nene Valley Community Centre in Peterborough.

Marcin Dobrzanski hit an equaliser after Eunice had fallen behind early on. Goalkeeper Filip Majewski then conceded and saved a Lions penalty.

An own goal put Eunice ahead before half-time. A Jakub Sulima brace and a Krzysztof Chojak strike then sealed victory in the second period.

Eunice have another big final tonight (Wednesday). They face Orton Rangers in the Peterborough Football Association Minor Cup decider at Yaxley FC.
