Everett hit a hat-trick as Lee Milton’s men stretched their perfect league start to seven games with a 12-0 romp at Manea, last Saturday.

That took the frontman onto a dozen goals for the season, but he is lagging five behind strike partner Carl Foreman. The summer signing struck five times at Manea to take his own tally to 17.

Joe Bennett, Darren Blackwell, Anthony Gentile and Daniel York also found the net as United roared into double figures for the second time this season.

They’re now four points clear of closest challengers March Town Reserves while Houghton & Wyton dropped to fourth after being held to a 2-2 draw at fellow locals Alconbury.

James Edwards and Kristien Strickson-Head struck for Alconbury with Will Fordham and Rickie Knaepel on target for the visitors.

Fenstanton were involved in a match with the same scoreline as they shared four goals at Littleport Town.

Ben Hall put them ahead from a tight angle early on and substitute Brandon Haynes hauled them level with 20 minutes to go.

Eaton Socon Reserves claimed a third successive win in all competitions. Aidan Stockwell, Adam Westbury and substitute Sam Ward struck as they triumphed 3-0 at St Ives Rangers.

Papworth ignited their promotion challenge in Division 2A by ending the perfect record of table-toppers Clare Town.

They came from behind to claim a 2-1 success thanks to a Matthew Gough leveller and Brett McPhee winner.

Brampton Reserves are a team in form in Division 2B.

Martin Faulkner hit a hat-trick as they bashed fellow locals AFC Barley Mow to record a fourth win in five games. Simon Linnell provided the other goal when striking for the fourth successive match.

Ramsey Pavilion allowed a two-goal lead to slip through their grasp at that level.

A Matthew Brading strike and a Tom Allgood penalty put them on top, but they had to settle for a 2-2 draw at Ely Crusaders.

The two sides meet again this Saturday in the first home game of Pavilion’s debut season.
