St Neots Town 3 Bourne Town 2
IT was the late, late show at Rowley Park as two goals in the last two minutes gave Saints a crucial victory against fellow strugglers Bourne.
Wes Byrne was the Town hero, netting his second of the match in the closing moments to earn his side three vital points.
The visitors led at the break through Adam Ridout's 40th minute strike, but Byrne netted his first of the game to equalise after 52 minutes.
Keith Gray headed in from a corner for Bourne on 57 minutes but Mark Franklin scored direct from a corner with two minutes remaining to equalise.
Byrne clinched the win when he stole in at the far post to convert a flick on from a Jon Coley free-kick.
Manager Steve Young said: "There are a lot of good teams at the wrong end of the league so it's vital to keep winning.
"The work-rate is there and we're creating a lot of chances so we're definitely moving in the right direction."
Saints hosted Potton United at Rowley Park last night (Tuesday) and travel to Desborough on Saturday for another league fixture.
