A tough year ended on a high for Huntingdon racer Guy Jolly.
He made his final outing of 2015 a successful one when winning the Christmas Meeting at the Belle Vue track in Manchester.
Jolly dropped from second to fourth in his opening heat following a mistake going through the final corner.
He atoned for that error by securing second place in his second heat and even better was to follow in the final.
Starting from the front row of the grid, Jolly eased into the lead early in the race and pulled clear of the cars battling to catch him.
Jolly said: “It was a good way to finish the year. The car performed well and enabled me to push on and win the final.
“The healthy prize purse will definitely help us to fund next season as well.”
