Playing his joker worked to perfection for Huntingdon racer Guy Jolly in the second round of the V8 Hotstox Series last weekend.
It meant Jolly scored double points for his finishing positions throughout the event at the Brandon Stadium in Coventry.
He powered to victory in his opening heat despite having a lot of smoke coming from his machine towards the end of the race and he followed that up with a valuable second place in his next outing.
But he was back on top of the podium in the finale with a fine drive to climb to the top of the national points standings.
Jolly also sits second in the world qualifying scores following a fine start to the 2016 season.
