EATON Socon made it three wins out of three with victory over St Ives in a very entertaining Hunts Under-11 match. Neither team got going with the bat, as good bowling and fielding restricted the run rate. Ryan Barnett and Joe Taylor made a good start with Barnett scoring his first runs for the team. He went on to take his first wicket later in the day. Taylor continued his good form with two vital wickets. Ewen West scored second highest total before Peter Johnson, Sam Parsons, Joe Adams, Marcus Kenmir. All batted steadily without rally troubling the scores too much before Joe Donnelly hit an unbeaten 18 which included a brilliant six. Eaton then bowled magnificently with Adams, Kenmir, Parsons, Donnelly and Johnson all claiming important wickets at vital times to secure a victory by six runs.
