HUNTINGDONSHIRE duo Esmund Edwards (Ramsey TC) and Tim Rosamond (Buckden TC) teamed up and won a prestigious doubles event at the Hunstanton Tennis Tournament.

The tournament, held last week, is part of a festival of tennis, held every year in Hunstanton, Norfolk, during the month of August and is reputed to be the 'oldest tennis festival' in the world, circa 1903.

Esmund (pictured centre) and Tim (right) have never teamed up before and whilst they would like to put their success down to hard work, good communication and an understanding of each other's ability, Esmund said: "It was most probably down to lack of training, not speaking to each other and not knowing what each others abilities were". Both agreed it was a pleasant way to finish the season off.
