Under 14 South Indoor League Eaton Socon A v Warboys EATON Socon won, scoring 11 of the last over to win the game by three runs. Warboys determinedly avoided dismissals, batting their 10 overs without losing a wicket. Socon replied well, leaving Chris Budd to secure the runs in an exciting finale. St Ives v Eaton Socon B ST Ives battled hard, denying Socon the bonus points they needed to go top, but lost by 102 runs. Socon batted first, setting a good total and losing only 2 wickets. St Ives chased the runs bravely, but couldn't get near the total set. They lost three wickets in their 10 overs. Godmanchester v Sawtry SAWTRY batted and bowled fiercely but couldn't contain Godmanchester, losing by 86 runs. Sawtry batted first, Glyn Smith, Sam Nickerson and Ciaran Turner all adding to the total. Godmanchester batted well to overtake the Sawtry total with some good strokes from Oliver Smith, James Sykes and Taylor West. Board Meeting THE Huntingdonshire Cricket Board recently held its annual presentation dinner at The Showground in Peterborough, raising over £3,000 to support youth cricket throughout the county. ECB Chief Executive, David Collier, was one of the Board's guests and presented various awards and County Caps. Former England all-rounder and current Test selector, Geoff Miller, entertained the 200-strong audience with a speech.
