Alconbury

GOALS galore saw in the New Year for the U8s as they beat Buckden 9-4.

The goals came from Daniel Seaman, with four, an Owen King hat-trick and two own goals.

Bluntisham

RANGERS U16A visited top-of-the-table Fulbourn but despite creating several chances slipped to a 4-0 defeat.

The U16Bs had more success at Balsham as they ran out 4-2 winners. The scorers were Dan Smith, Taz Saragi, Janagan Sivakumar and Sam Scales.

There was a good 2-1 away win for the U15s at Bar Hill with strikes from Tyler Manly and Dominic Richardson.

Rangers U14A booked their place in the Hunts Cup semi-finals with a 3-0 win against Parkside, with goals from Jack Harwood, Ryan Palmer and James Duncan.

The New Year started with a bang for the U14Bs as they struck nine past Royston Celtic without reply. Bluntisham's scorers were George Kehoe (five), a Liam Smith hat-trick and a Chris Hewitt strike.

Blasters U10s went down 4-2 against Great Paxton. Luke Young gave the Blasters a short-lived lead and Christian Wiggins-Brown made it 2-1 before Paxton took control.

Brampton

JOHNNY Wrycraft, Tim Gladding and Tom Nicholls helped the U12Bs to a 3-1 victory against Swavesey.

There was an easy passage to the third round of the Cambs Knockout Cup for the U11s as they knocked in seven against Priory, including a second-half hat-trick for Aaron May.

The U8s also had a comfortable day dispatching Bluntisham 7-1. There was a brace each for William Brackley, Joshua Matcham and Matthew Ortyl and a single strike from Demi Dixon.

James Shaw scored for the U9s as they lost 3-1 to Stukeley Meadows.

Buckden

KESTRELS U13 Girls played out a 2-2 draw against Stevenage, with Billie Bradbury and Sarah Palmer netting the goals.

A fine team display resulted in a 5-1 win for the U7s against Somersham Black in an entertaining game.

Ospreys U10s came from two down to beat Hemingford 4-2. The goals were scored by Charlie Hanson and Luke Fennell, with two apiece.

Cambourne

GOALS from Alex Smith and Theodore Diejomaoh could not stop Eagles U14 going down 8-2 to Buckden while Rovers U12s fared little better as they were defeated 7-2 at home to Newmarket despite Harley Godfrey and Mark Dancy goals.

Rovers U8s lost out 6-5 to Bluntisham. There was a brace each for Kieran Mears and James Teale and one for Callum McLean.

Eaton Socon

A DOUBLE strike from Rhys Harvey helped Socon U12s draw 4-4 with Burwell. Ollie Broome and Ryan Lynch were the other scorers.

Fenstanton

LOCAL honour was at stake as the U8 Reds played the Blues. In a pulsating game the Reds won 2-1. Harry Taylor and Felix Perez netted for the Reds with Bailey Parr getting the Blues' goal.

Godmanchester

ROVERS U13B won 5-1 against Isleham despite missing a hatful of chances in the first period. Tom Hodgson netted twice and other strikes came from Robert Lynch, Jack Purser and Callum Parker.

The U13Cs cracked in four against Little Downham, who replied twice. Goddy scorers were James Cockshott and Toby Pleasants with a brace each.

A top-of-the-table clash was won by Rovers U10s as they ran out 4-0 winners over Ramsey. Matt Alan scored twice and there was a goal apiece for Peter Southee and Greg Goodwin.

At U12 level the Rovers team just got past Whittlesford 6-5. Hat-tricks for Simon Zientek and Ellis Sullivan sent the visitors home empty-handed.

Although they were 2-1 down at the break, the U10Bs fought back to win their encounter against Ramsey 7-2. Goals came from Cameron Corden and Nathan Brown, with two each, and a deserved hat-trick from Max Darer.

Great Paxton

A STIRRING second-half fightback saw the U13s run out 3-2 winners against Chesterton. They were 2-1 adrift at the break but a brace of goals from Ash Howard and one from Ryan Moorbey saw them home.

The U10s won 4-2 against Bluntisham with William Whitney netting all four.

Huntingdon Rowdies

ROWDIES U8s began 2008 with an 8-0 victory over Somersham Orange. The goals came from Kasey Douglas (two), Dominic Scott, Anthony Abthorpe, Sam Bond and a hat-trick from Gordon Torkonow.

Goals from Callum Brown and Josh Furnell saw the U10s overcome a spirited KC Cougars side, while goals from Damien Chamberlain, Harry Abblitt and Jack Hedges were not enough to stop Rowdies U13 from starting 2008 with a league defeat.

Rowdies U14s went out of the cup at the hands of ICA Juventus with a goal from Joey Nicholson the only consolation.

Little Paxton

IT WAS five of the best for the U10s in the 5-0 defeat of St Ives Rangers. There were two goals apiece for Charlie Bailey and Jake Smith and the scoring was completed by Can Pekdemir.

Priory Parkside

THERE were goals galore for the U11As as they smashed 17 past Warboys without reply. Ben Gibbins hit five, Tom Newton got four, Dom Smith grabbed a hat-trick, Bradley Winfield two, and there was one each for Jamie Bottomley, Lee Adams and Nathan Arnold.

Harry Compton scored the U11s' only goal as they went down 3-1 to St Ives Rangers.

Priory U10R had to work hard for a 2-0 away win over Needingworth. Harrison Upton drove home the first and Reece Keating added the second.

There was an impressive 8-1 win for the U14As. The goals were shared around with Sam Bristo scoring twice while Joe Dawborn, Alex Williams, Sam Elias, Louis Smith, Felix Woolf and Josh Benson all got on the scoresheet.

The U15s were unfortunate to lose 3-2 at Saffron Walden. Adam Kidman gave the visitors the lead and James Zalinsky scored the second but Walden scored three times in-between to take the win.

Peter Moore hit the only consolation for the U13Bs as they lost 11-1 to Celtic Crusaders.

Ramsey

RAMS U8A won 10-1 at St Ives Rangers S thanks to goals from Jamie Short, four, Oliver Stevens, three, and singles from Matthew Walker, Jordan Johnson and Liam Carrigan.

Matthew Howes scored a hat-trick, with Glenn Ferrier and Blaize Walker-Gleeson bagging one apiece in a 5-2 win for Rams U9A against Bluntisham..

Dan Wing was on target for Rams U10B as they went down 7-2 to Godmanchester B.

The U11s were unlucky to go down 5-4 against Newmarket. Kai Webb bagged two, with one apiece for Jordan Dover and Jack Rhodes.

Rams U12 pulled it back in the League Cup despite being 2-0 down against Cherry Hinton. Liam Parish notched a goal in the last few minutes for a 4-3 win after Kyle Ferrier had scored two and Levi Massie the other.

Rob Sayer bagged two and Elliot Smith the other as Rams U13A went down to Burwell Swallows in an 8-3 defeat.

Jake Peattie was on form, notching all seven for the U14s as they won 7-2 at Bottisham.

Rams U17s won 6-2 against West Wratting thanks to Mike Neil and David Turnbull with two each and one apiece for Rory Fenton and Chris Stewart.

Stukeley Meadows

IT TOOK just six seconds for Meadows U9s to snatch the lead in the game against Brampton as Daniel Worrall netted. Alex Rankine got number two and an own goal completed the 3-1 scoreline.

St Ives Rangers

THERE was a second round cup win for Rangers U11B as they visited Priory and recorded a 3-1 win. Goals were scored by Scott Wilkinson, Bradley Smith and Daniel Davis.

Rangers U13Bs started the year with an emphatic 14-0 win over Ramsey. The goal scorers were Josh Fitzjohn and Jack Barber with a hat-trick each, Doulton Kingston with two, plus singles from Jack Baker, Josh Baker, Kieran Enticknap, Tom Johnson, Jamie Lee-Lines and Tom Woodrow.

The U10s had an excellent 6-2 at Priory. Kye Towers scored a hat-trick, Daffa Prasetyo nicked two and Sam Ferrante grabbed one in the victory.

Knockout Cup involvement finished for the U15Bs as they went down 4-1 at Haverhill. Rangers took the lead through an Adam Maltby strike but the hosts hit back to progress to the next round.

The U8S were no match for a strong Ramsey A side, who ran out 10-1 winners. The lone scorer for Rangers was Jacob Martin.

Reds U9s defeated Cherry Hinton 5-1 with a fine team performance. The goals came from Josh Smith and Jack Banyard, who netted a brace each, and a Will Rolt strike.

A fair return for both teams as the U10Ms drew 2-2 with Warboys. Sam Walker scored Rangers' first and Peter Masters netted the second after Warboys had equalised. The visitors had the last word and scored their second right on the final whistle.

Warboys

THE U8s were involved in an entertaining game against Little Paxton. The final score was 6-3 to Warboys with their goals coming courtesy of a Callum Robertson hat-trick and one each for Finlay Alston, Liam Bullard and Ben Garbett.

A last-gasp header from Alex Daniel secured a 2-2 draw for the U10s against St Ives. Earlier, Liam Durber had scored to cancel out the first St Ives strike.

The U14s visited Soham and drew 3-3 with the goals coming from Daniel Malem and Jake Thornton.
