History: The club finished runners up in the 2005/06 U16 season and the majority of the team have been together since the days of Mini Soccer. Five players received long service awards at the club's presentation evening earlier this year.

Despite struggling for players last season, the club has kept on 10 of last season's players and added nearly as many again to provide the club's first under 17 squad.

A FOUR-goal performance from Callum Arnold helped Bluntisham Rangers U8A continue their winning run with a 7-3 triumph against Priory Parkside.

Man of the match Jacob Peel chipped in with two goals and goalkeeper Jay Coulson struck home a free-kick to complete the scoring.

Alconbury

DESPITE a brave fightback, Alconbury U14s lost for the first time this season, 4-3 at Fordham Hammers.

Alex Arnold netted twice in the first half and Callum Baker once in the second half.

Sam Young was named man of the match for a fine defensive display.

Bluntisham Rangers

A COMEBACK from Rangers U8Bs earned them a 5-3 victory at home to Warboys. The visitors led 2-0 at the break but Charlie Edward Ainge scored a fine goal, and two apiece from Toby Davies and Joshua Cunningham gave Rangers the win. Connor Webster was man of the match.

Meanwhile, Rangers U11 went down to a narrow 3-2 defeat at home to Huntingdon Rowdies. A Ben Rittal header from a Jake Sterna free-kick and a long range effort from George Davies were not enough for Bluntisham.

Rangers U10 put in a fine performance but were edged out 2-1 by St Ives Rangers L. Kieran Carter put Blunty in the lead but two second half goals from St Ives turned the game and Rangers had goalkeeper James Geary to thank for keeping the score down.

A late strike from Tom Murray put the seal on a 5-0 victory against Cottenham for the U14s. Tyler Manly scored a brace with Jon Garrett and substitute Dominic Richardson the other goalscorers.

League leaders Needingworth could not claim the points against Blunty U15 in a game that ended 2-2. Alex Parsons' bundled goal from a corner and Josh Parker's last-gasp effort twice equalised for the home side. Goalkeeper Luke Robinson and defenders Stuart Few and Dan Proudfoot-Sweeney were outstanding.

Brampton Spartans

SPARTANS U11s put in a fine performance to defeat a strong Waterbeach side 6-1 in the second round of the league cup. Adam Pedlar's hat-trick, two from Tom Rayner and a single strike from Christian Le gave the home side victory.

Buckden

A BATTLING performance earned Buckden Kestrels U12 Girls a 0-0 draw with second placed Duston Knights. Sophie Carpenter and Caitlin Marks were denied by some fine goalkeeping, while Buckden keeper Fran George played well to keep her clean sheet. Abbi Wright picked up the player of the match award.

Eagles U10s lost out by the odd goal in nine against Warboys. Sam Crane scored a brace with one apiece for Ben Thomson and Keith Shreeve but it was not quite enough. Jack Ellard picked up the man of the match award for solid defensive play.

Eaton Socon

A DOUBLE from Jack Jones-Scrutton helped Socon U11 to a 6-0 friendly win against Alconbury. Ollie Broome, Luke Stanford, Ryan Wood and an own goal completed the scoring and helped the hosts to their second win of the season.

Eynesbury Rovers

A FINE performance from Tom Bilson gave Rovers U11 victory in a seven-goal thriller at home to Sawbridgeworth. Andrew Gulliver and two from Bilson gave Rovers the platform but the decisive goal came from Owen Williams, who followed up a parry from the goalkeeper to clinch the victory.

Godmanchester Rovers

ROVERS U11B earned their first win of the season in a friendly against Huntingdon Rowdies. A double from Tim Gladding saw him pick up the Kimberley Cup while Jake Burrill scored a fine goal to make the final score 3-1. Defender Jamie Wick was named man of the match.

A slow start didn't stop Goddy U17s coming out 5-2 winners against Spartak. Edward Gee, Kesh Munbauhal, James Hall and a brace from Michael Prime did the damage.

Goalkeeper Liam Napier's man of the match display couldn't stop Rovers U12C going down 4-0 at home to Witchford Colts. Joseph Cattmull was unlucky to strike the crossbar.

Two goals apiece for Daniel Worrall and man of the match James Osbourne saw the U8s defeat Priory B by six goals to one. Connor Rice and Toby Graham were other goalscorers as Rovers continued their unbeaten run.

Graveley

FOUR goals from Ben McConnell helped Graveley U11 Reds romp to a 10-0 victory against Godmanchester B. Man of the match Ben Rodgers scored a hat-trick, with George Harris, Joe Rounce and an own goal completing the scoring.

Great Paxton

GOALS from Freya Page and Morgan Thomas helped Paxton U8s come from a goal down to bear Somersham Town Youth 2-1. Great Paxton were unlucky not to extend their lead in the third period but had done enough to secure the win.

Paxton U15s picked up their seventh consecutive victory against top of the league Ely. Glynn Dawson picked up the man of the match award in a 5-3 victory. Jack Crawley, Kyle Morris, Michael Crisp, Josh Spavins and Dawson were the goalscorers.

Huntingdon Rowdies

A NUMBER of players carrying injuries didn't stop Rowdies U15A coming out 2-0 winners against Chesterton Eagles. Wayne Childerley and Joe Furness scored the goals while Jake Pinner and Charlie Bowen were jointly named man of the match for fine defensive performances.

A thrilling game saw Rowdies U12s draw 5-5 away at Aztec Junior in a match played on an artificial surface. Jamie Whitworth scored a pair with Jake Irwin, Jack Hedges and Levi Cornthwaite also on target.

Little Paxton

A CLOSE encounter saw Little Paxton U8s lose out 4-2 against Ramsey Colts. A man of the match performance from captain Greg Archer, coupled with goals from Samuel Squire and Shae Humphrey, weren't enough to stop Ramsey leaving with the victory.

Two goals from Seb Hall could not stop Paxton U13s going down 5-3 to Comberton Crusaders. Michael Bell was the other goalscorer and Sam Sedoux picked up the man of the match award.

Needingworth

GOALKEEPER Liam O'Carroll turned in a man of the match display but couldn't stop Needingworth U11s going down 6-0 against Ramsey. O'Carroll's side had a number of counter attacks and long-range efforts but were beaten by the stronger side.

Priory Parkside

SIX of the best saw Priory U11B continue their unbeaten run with a 6-2 victory against Chatteris. Braden Smith hit two goals while Lewis Garrett, Josh Kane, Scott Davis and man of the match Lewis Grant were also on the scoresheet.

Parkside U13C had a convincing 6-0 win against KC Cougars. Man of the match Gareth Ekins netted a hat-trick while Danny Cain, Lozza Roffey and Lindsey Smith were also on target.

Cameron Harris hit five goals to help Priory U8A to an 8-0 win against their U8C counterparts. Alex O'Hara was at the double and Todd Ritchie also netted while Harvey Wilshire played well in goal for the C team to help down keep the score.

Priory U14As made the long trip to league leaders Saffron Walden but returned empty-handed after suffering a 3-0 loss. Cameron Purser was the visitors' man of the match.

Despite a spirited display, the U8B side went down 6-1 to free-scoring Godmanchester. Lee Chapman found the net for Parkside, continuing his record of a goal a game.

Priory U12A ran out 5-2 winners against Ramsey thanks to a brace from Charlie Simpson and another two from man of the match Joe Bennett. Zack Moore netted the other goal.

A goal apiece for Scott Galbraith and man of the match Jacob Joyce helped Priory U10A to a 2-1 win against Godmanchester.

Four goals from Jack Pirie were not enough for Parkside U12B as they went down 8-4 to unbeaten Cherry Hinton Lions, who had previously conceded only five goals all season.

Ramsey

A HAT-trick from Blaize Walker-Gleeson helped Ramsey U8A to a 4-2 victory against Little Paxton. Lewis Harold netted the other goal in a good team performance.

Jordan Dover's brace gave Rams U10A a 3-1 victory against Godmanchester A with David Lane also on target.

Man of the match Joseph Badcock struck a hat-trick to secure the U10B team a 7-0 victory against Priory Parkside P. John Day (2), Ben Medhurst and Charlie Corrigan completed the scoring.

It was six of the best for Rams U11 as they defeated Needingworth 6-0. Kyle Ferrier and Lewis Nicholls hit two each with Ryan Judd and Luke Jenkins also on target.

A slack performance from Rams U12A saw them come away defeated 5-2 from Priory Parkside. An Ollie Wright penalty and a late Scott Duncan strike weren't enough for Ramsey.

Two goals from Oliver Day couldn't stop Rams U13 slipping out of the Hunts Cup against Priory Parkside B while the U15s lost out 2-1 to Fulbourn Falcons despite a Chris Whitfield strike.

Sawtry

MAN of the match James Goff hit four goals to fire Blue Sox U8s to an 8-3 win at St Ives Rangers R. Charlie McKay and Oliver Crisp hit two apiece to complete the scoring.

St Ives Rangers

GOALS from Tom Cornwell and Mark Walter helped Rangers U12A to a 2-0 victory against Cottenham. Rangers passed the ball well on a small pitch to continue their unbeaten run.

Man of the match Jason Billam hit a hat-trick to give Rangers U12B a 4-2 victory against Little Downham Eagles. Josh Fitzjohn netted late in the game.

Rangers U14s came out 5-1 winners at Cambridge Musketeers. Mark Howe scored twice and Michael Keeley picked up the man of the match award for his good play on the left. Stewart Bridge, Glen Tilbrook and Ryan Johnson were the other goalscorers.

A memorable hat-trick from Callum McDuffus earned him the man of the match award and Rangers U8S a 5-2 win at Brampton Spartans. Rory Simmons and Billy Hopkin also found the target while Olly Seymour made a fantastic save in the first half to keep Spartans out.

Kris Atherton was at the double for Rangers U8L as they picked up a 4-2 win at Alconbury. Jack Jefferson and Max Oliver were also on target while Jacob Texter went away with the man of the match trophy for some fine defending.

Saints U10S celebrated their new kit with a 4-3 victory against Brampton. James Atherton netted a hat-trick and Jack Seymour scored the other goal in a game where Brampton never gave up.

An impressive attacking display helped Rangers U14A to a 4-1 victory at Girton. Will Lygo scored a hat-trick to move on to 101 goals in junior football with an own goal completing the scoring - the defender put under pressure by Lygo.

St Neots Town

GOALKEEPER Connor Flint was troubled only once as Saints U8 whites strolled to a 14-0 win against Baldock Town. Nathan Downes hit five while Henry Vaudin and Carl Gore scored hat-tricks. James Brown was feeling good as he fired in the 14th.

The U8 blues continued the Saints good work against the same opponents. Sam Bloy, Owen Bevan, Reece Sibley and Johan Shone all found the target while Samuel Piesse was man of the match for a sound defensive performance.

St Neots U9s blues continued their good run with a 4-0 victory against Bassingbourn. Tom Hall and player of the day Ben Bradbury found the net while captain Josh Rea was man of the match.

Meanwhile, the U9 whites triumphed 5-0 against the same opposition thanks to a hat-trick from man of the match Tom Banks and a brace from Joe Keech.

A great team performance saw Saints U11 come away 6-2 winners from Bar Hill. Two apiece from Jamie Barker and Ashley Howard were added to by strikes Tom Fordham and Martin Faulkner as the visitors ran out convincing winners.

Saints U15s romped to a 15-2 victory at Garden City Rangers, who actually took the lead. Five goals from Ricky Allen and four from Callum Jarvis led the way with Liam Darrington, Josh Lusha, Luke Ellis, Michael Hornby, Calen Knipp and Keelan Raffill all netting one apiece.

The U10 blues played some excellent football and battled hard against Potton Colts but a single second half strike from Potton settled the game, despite Jack Brown's man of the match display.

Goals from Joe Meeds and Dominic Smith saw the U10 whites to a 2-0 win against Potton B. Ross Pirie picked up the man of the match award.

Warboys

TWO goals from Matthew Brown helped Warboys U11s edge an 11-goal thriller against Buckden Eagles. Farris Alston, Thomas Wincup and man of the match Stephen Tippell were also on target.
