JAKE Samal is from Eaton Socon and he plays ice hockey for the Peterborough Phantoms under-14s team has just clinched the England South Division Two title
Thirteen-year-old Samal has been playing the sport for three years and will now be competing against the very best in his age-group in the top division of the regional league.
That 10-team league will include Isle of Wight, Milton Keynes, Bracknell, Oxford and Swindon.
“The weekends of travelling are made worthwhile by achievements like this,” said his mother Janice Samal.
