THE Hunts Youth League has been awarded the prestigious FA Charter Standard award after only six months in existence.
Hunts FA secretary Mark Frost is pictured handing the award to league secretary Marina Howlett and chairman John Walker at The Hunts Post Community Stadium last weekend.
The league, sponsored by Mitsa Kits, started in September last year with 17 teams playing in smaller sided 9v9 games in two divisions at U11 level – and plans to expand next year to also include an U12 section.
