Hunts AC signed off from their Southern League campaign on a high courtesy of 14 victories and three club records in their final outing.
Dave Connell was responsible for two of the new bests in the space of 90 minutes at the Newham track in London.
He shaved six seconds off Geoff Brewster’s previous veteran 5000m mark with a time of 16:26.6 and then followed up by knocking almost a minute off the club’s 2000m best by clocking 7:00.1.
Teenager Charlie Batterbee was the other athlete to provide a new entry in the record books thanks to a 37.04m effort in the hammer which added almost a metre to Chloe Edwards’ Under 17 Women best which had stood for 12 years.
Siobhan Skinner was arguably the pick of the female contingent in the capital as she zoomed to a hat-trick of victories in the Senior Women section.
She won her 800m and 1500m races in convincing fashion before joining forces with Rachel Sweatt, Jodie Vuylsteke and Jada Griffin-Howard for 4-400m relay success.
Sweatt (400m) and Vulysteke (800m) were also individual winners along with pole vault pair Diana Pereira and Sandra Pedley.
