YOU WIN AGAIN: Huntingdon Bowls Club’s Jean Whittamore, June Blackall and Sylvia Coffin retained the Benevolent Triples Trophy on Saturday when they recorded a 15-1 win over Brampton Bowls Club’s Myra Prior, Sue Linnell and Angela Day.
The match, played at Hemingford, marked the second year running that the Huntingdon trio have won the trophy.
Silverware was also on its way to Ramsey after Val Gasson beat Glenys Cousins from St Ives by three shots (11-8) in the final of the Hunts WBF Benevolent singles at St Ives Bowls Club on Saturday, August 6.
