TWO first-half goals helped Huntingdon Town make it six points from six away from home on Saturday.
It was a comfortable win for Town, in contrast to their first game of the season, when they had to come from two goals down to win 3-2.
Ian Fovargue opened the scoring direct from a free kick after eighteen minutes, and Ben Daly added a second with a spectacular volley from 30 yards just past the half hour mark.
Town could have won even more handsomely when they were awarded a penalty for a foul on Sam Moakes, but Fovargue's spot-kick was saved.
Huntingdon Town face AFC Kempston in the League KO Cup this Tuesday, when the new 1.1m Jubilee Park clubhouse will be opened.
"It's an exciting time for the club, and this is a big step that we have taken along with the Huntingdon Rowdies to build these new facilities," said chairman Hans Reif. "We're hoping that this can help spur the club on and help us progress up the league, so we'd like to invite people to come and see the team and the new facilities on Tuesday evening."
