HUNTINGDON Town failed to continue their winning ways as they lost to Rushden and Higham United at Jubilee Park on Saturday.
The first half ended goalless after a close contest but Karl King broke the deadlock for the visitors six minutes after the restart. As Town pressed for an equaliser King sealed the win with his second 15 minutes from time.
Huntingdon Town have now won just two of their last 14 games and have lost four of their last six. They languish 14th in the table, one point above Burton Park Wanderers. They next host Eynesbury Rovers at Jubilee Park tomorrow (Tuesday) before travelling to Northampton Sileby Rangers on Saturday.
