HUNTINGDON Stags returned to league action against Casuals, and Dale Ablitt powered Stags ahead before Oliver Day converted. The visitors soon got a try back before Stags also scored, but a penalty for Casuals made the game close again. Ablitt got his second try and although Stags looked like taking a healthy lead near half time, some sloppy play saw them 29-19 down.
Dave Alvis scored for Stags after the restart and after sustained pressure that saw an opposition player sin binned, Dave Alvis ran in another try and Oliver Day converted to put Stags ahead.
