TOWCESTRIANS 40-22 HUNTINGDON STAGS
Stags took the game to their opponents, but paid the price for indiscipline as Towcestrians scored early penalties.
Once Towcestrians had run over their first try, the floodgates opened and they scored another three tries, two converted, in the space of 10 minutes.
The second half started well for Stags until a poor kick resulted in Towcester's fifth try. But Stags came back with an attack of their own and Neil Welsh crossed the line in the corner to register Stags first points, before a penalty and drop goal restored Towcester's commanding lead
Stags finally exploded into action and inside ten minutes Seth Muggeridge, Ben Strangeways and Welsh again had restored some pride for Stags.
