UCL Division One: Huntingdon Town 2-1 Wootton Blue Cross

HUNTINGDON managed to reverse recent trends to record a good win against Blue Cross and haul themselves up to sixth in the table.

Management duo of Al Lenihan and Pat O'Keefe have been frustrated in recent weeks with Town's inability to cut out mistakes at the back and take chances, but against Blue Cross they were more composed and deserving of the win.

Chris Brown put Town ahead on the half hour and they looked worth the half-time lead. It took James Edwards little more than six minutes of the second half to double the advantage and the home side looked to be cruising.

Blue Cross put in a spirited reply that resulted in Jason Simons pulling a goal back just before the hour but sound defending kept Town's lead intact and took the points.
