Dan Keatings has won gold in the Commonwealth Games pommel horse final, beating fellow Huntingdon gymnast third-placed Louis Smith.
Keatings, who missed out on London 2012 through injury, denied Englishman Max Whitlock a fourth gold medal in Glasgow with a perfect performance.
The 24-year-old, representing Scotland, scored 16.058 which Whitlock couldn’t manage to beat.
Smith, 25, lost his rhythm at the end of his run and scored 14.966 - point behind second place.
Huntingdonshire’s medal tally is now up to two golds, two silvers and a bronze.
St Neots lawn bowler Ellen Falkner is guaranteed to add at least a silver when she plays in the Women’s Triples event later today.
