ST Neots billiard player Jan Hughes picked up her first World Billiards and Snooker Association seniors trophy of the season when she beat Gaye Jones in the final last week.
Hughes, who is currently 12th in the Post Connie Gough Memorial rankings, beat Jenny Poulter and Chris Sharpe on the way to the final of the 40-plus tournament.
The sixth and final leg of the 2011-12 WLBSA tour is the Greene King World Championships in Bury St Edmunds in April.
