St Ives Cycling Club talent Nathan Gibson claimed a podium finish in the latest round of the Mud Sweat & Gears Eastern Series.
Gibson finished second in the Junior Male category at the Radical Bikes course in Chelmsford.
Several clubmates just missed out on the podium with fourth places earned by Jack Taylor (Sport Male), Sam Trotter (Youth Male) and Ruby O’Dell (Under 9 Girls). Sapphire Curtis (Juvenile Female) finished fifth and Orla Kenna (Under 12 Girls) was sixth.
Other riders to represent the local xlub were Andy Fountain (14th, Grand Veteran), Michael Curtis (24th, Grand Veteran), Max O’Dell (20th, Under 9 Boys), Nicholas Smith (23rd, Veteran Male) and Elliot Kenna (59th, Open Male).
