EVENING horse racing is back at Huntingdon Racecourse, with three exciting theme nights lined up for May.

Irish Night will be on Thursday May 3, where a band from the Emerald Isle - Black Velvet - will be performing before and after the racing.

The highlight of the programme will be the £10,000 Irish Night Beginners' Chase, while Irish pixie balloon modellers and stilt-walkers will entertain the children.

Tuesday, May 15, will be 007 night at the track and party band Boogie Nights will be on hand, along with a host of entertainment, a string quartet ... and some top racing action.

There will be a prize on offer for the Best Bond or Bond girl. Visitors will be able to sample cocktails or try their hand at quick draw shooting, and an array of classic cars will be on show.

Ladies' Night is on Wednesday, May 23, where £600 of vouchers will be on offer from the Planet clothing chain for the best dressed ladies.

The lady in the best hat will pick up £100 prize money.

The Hunts Post has teamed up with Huntingdon Racecourse to offer two pairs of tickets to the James Bond evening on May 15.
