Hunts AC kick-started their East Anglian League challenge with a stack of successes.
There were 17 triumphs for the local club in their opening fixture at Colchester – and the honours were spread pretty evenly across the age groups and sexes.
The males just shaded it with nine successes ranging from Under 13 Boys through to Senior Men.
And it was the youngest category which proved most successful with five wins arriving.
George Hamilton-Smith was a star performer in the A-string throws as he won the shot putt and discus.
Connor Lyden did a double of his own. He showed his versatility to follow up a high jump success with a 1500m win.
There was also a 100m triumph from Zac Hope as Hunts AC took second place in the team standings in that age group.
Further wins arrived courtesy of Jack Wyles in the 80m hurdles at Under 15 Boys level, Liam Hunt in the Senior Men’s 110m hurdles and Bob Ellingham in the Senior Men’s hammer.
And there was plenty for the females to shout about as well.
Ellen Bullin (high jump) and Daniella Scholes (long Jump) took victories in the Under 13 Girls section while Shannon Flockhart (1500m) and Mia Fairbrother-Burton (shot putt) claimed top spots in the Under 15 Girls section.
There was plenty of middle distance success at Senior Women level with Ella Blake and Amy Chalmers securing a double in the two 1500m races and Siobhan Skinner winning her 800m outing.
Megan Wilson made her first-ever appearance in a competitive league hammer event a winning one.
