SOPHIE Holliday, 17, and her eight-year-old gelding Westerhofs Limit were exceptional as they jumped to glory in the Equissage National Discovery Championship.
Holliday, from Huntingdon, who is taking an equine studies course at Moulton College, Northampton, and has owned Westerhofs Limit for two years, clocked up an unbeatable time of 36.55 seconds.
Holliday said: “It is really exciting to win the Equissage Discovery Championship. The course was technical with lots of turns but a good height, which suited ‘Limo’.
“We started off fast, and finished faster,” she added.
Second place went to Bethany Austin riding Zeester, in third was Matthew Boddy and Zaronda II.
