TIME trial specialists Mick Hodson and Lee Desborough ended their season on a high with two consecutive wins. The St Ives CC duo, riding in the two-up events, beat the favourites at the Hainault 25 Mile and Team Cambridge 10 Mile races.
At Hainault, they completed the rolling course in 54mins 41secs, to beat the pre-race favourites by 17 seconds.
On the demanding 10-mile Wimpole Hill course, the pair clocked a new course record of 22mins 26secs, to win by 90 seconds.
St Ives rider Paul Davis was a minute behind the winner in the solo 10-mile race, in 24mins 26secs.
