ST NEOTS crushed Hitchin on Sunday with Connah Fairbrass getting the opening try and Joe Woodgate converting, the duo then doubling the score soon after. Scrum half Kieran Rook started a move from the back and Greg Thorndick got a try and winger Gareth Dean then chipped the pack and tight head prop Nick Severn eventually forced the ball over the line.

The hosts began to fight back but the ball was soon made lose for Greg Thorndick to pass to Woodgate to score number five. Full back Callum McShane got the last try of the half with Woodgate converting to effectively end the game at the interval.

Thorndick got his second try soon after the interval and Brad Haran got his first try for the club. Declan Seaman also got his debut try after some great handling by Josh Morris. Woodgate scored his second and Joe Adams ran in a try with Dean converting before the referee stopped the game becoming even more of a rout.
