A FORMER Hinchingbrooke School pupil has been called up to represent England in the forthcoming EuroHockey Nations Championships.
A junior player with St Ives, Hannah Macleod has previously represented her country at under-21 level - including a stint as captain at the Junior World Cup in Chile.
Since leaving St Ives, Macleod played for Bedford and now plies her trade with club side Leicester while she completes an Exercise Physiology PhD at Nottingham University.
Richard Corbett, from St Ives Hockey Club, said: "Hannah's success is a fantastic achievement and she is one of the most hard-working players anyone at St Ives or Cambridgeshire Hockey has been involved with."
