Huntingdon Gymnastics Club prospect Tilly Allen has sampled national success.
The 15 year-old struck gold on the beam when competing in the Women’s Challenge Cup event in Guildford last weekend.
Allen also took silver in the vault and claimed top-10 finishes in the bars and floor categories of the senior event.
Her exploits across those four pieces of apparatus ensured she finished second in the all-around standings when facing competition from 30 other gymnasts in her age group.
Clubmate Teegan Barnes was 12th all-around in the junior event after taking fourth-placed finishes on beam and floor. Anna Jenkins (33rd) and Megan Morris (52nd) featured in the same competition while Elizzbeth MacFarlane worked well to take 19th overall in the Espoir category.
