Huntingdon Gymnastics Club boasts a new British champion thanks to the brilliance of teenage talent Jake Jarman.
The 15-year-old collected the Under 16 all around title at the Echo Arena, in Liverpool, last Friday.
Jarman’s score of 76.4 was enough to earn top spot and he also captured four apparatus medals.
He struck gold on the parallel bars, claimed silver on the rings and horizontal bar, and earned bronze on the floor.
Ben Howells, the elite men’s coach at Huntingdon, said: “This was a fantastic performance from Jake, who competed with a skill level way ahead of his years.
“He has worked incredibly hard for the result and it highlights that he is a potential hope for major events in years to come.
“The next step for Jake now is to focus on gaining selection for Great Britain.”
