ST IVES junior golfer James Reeson came out on top in a field of 70 other junior golfers in the Cromer Junior Open in Norfolk.
James, 13, who plays for Cambridgeshire under-14s, triumphed after tying with three other golfers on nett 66, but having a superior score on countback.
James, who is from St Ives and attends the St Ivo School, said: "I've been coaching with Mark Pond, who is the professional at St Ives and it is really helping my game improve.
"It was really pleasing to win and it was great to beat such tough competition and get some rewards for the hard work I put into my golf!
