Home player Sharren Kjenstad enjoyed Plate success as Ramsey GC staged the Cambs & Hunts Ladies County Championships.
Kjenstad was handed victory in her semi-final when opponent Anna Guest conceded due to illness on the 13th hole.
And she quickly took control of the final against Greta Barclay by winning the first five holes.
Kjenstad’s opponent did respond to reduce the deficit to two holes at one point, but the local lady clinched a 4 & 3 victory when halving the 15th.
Paula Ewing (St Ives) was the only local lady to reach the matchplay stages in the main championship event. She was beaten 6&4 by eventual champion Miranda Brain (Gog Magog) in a quarter-final.
