Brampton Park provided the stage for the recent Eastern County Ladies Finals at second-team level.

Cambs & Hunts faced competition from Essex, Norfolk and Bedfordshire in the event with results added to those of matches played earlier in the season.

Home players excelled in the Cambs & Hunts team with Belinda Borneo and Mo Poole both putting their course knowledge to good to use to help earn a 7.5-4.5 win against Bedfordshire.

Ramsey player Lucy Mills-Cripps was victorious during 9-3 defeat against Norfolk while Karen Cox (Brampton Park) tasted success in an 8-4 loss to champions Essex.

Cambs & Hunts finished in third place overall.
