Trish Whittamore certainly led by example when winning the Johnson Cup at St Ives GC.
Lady captain Whittamore carded a net 75 to triumph by one shot from runner-up Sue Anderson (net 76). Marie Woodall (net 77) took third.
It was a third triumph in quick succession for Whittamore after she teamed up with Woodall to land the first round of the Peugeot Coronation Foursomes with a 35-point effort in the stableford competition.
Whittamore also won the Silver Division of the Ladies Monthly Medal with a net 77.
Woodall took the Bronze A Division honours with a net 74 and Kim Pilmer (net 76) prevailed in Bronze B Division.
