ROVERS made the long journey to Suffolk worthwhile by returning with a crucial three points.
The visitors needed a shot in the arm as far as their league form was concerned and they got just that when manager Karl Hurst rang the changes.
In came 17-year-old debutant keeper Connor Jordan, with Ryan Asher-Powell making his second start wide on the right. Hurst also welcomed Joss Kamau back from injury to lead the attack.
Hurst said: "The lads were asked to play to a plan and, after the initial shock of going a goal down early on, they did just that. We could have won by more but the pitch surface was poor and not conducive to our passing football."
Wanderers bagged a surprise lead before 15 minutes were on the clock but from that moment it was Rovers who bossed the match.

They were on level terms by the half hour when Asher-Powell's deep cross to the far post was turned in by Jon Hall.
Just before half-time Lee Boon was hauled down in the box, allowing Paul Bass to give Rovers the lead at the break.
The second half followed much the same pattern with Rovers in charge and Wanderers unable to find any space. No further goals resulted but Rovers were good value for their win.
