Kyle Rudland is his name . . . and dominating Hunts Youth League defences is his game.

The Ramsey Falcons Under 14s hot-shot has started the new Division A season in stunning goalscoring form.

Rudland hit all five of the goals as his side saw off KC Cougars 5-1 last Saturday to take his tally for the season to nine in just two matches.

And he is not alone in scoring for fun in an all-action division.

Mitchell Simons of Warboys struck six times in their 11-1 win against Gransden to follow up an opening day double the previous weekend.

Alex Swanston found the net four times as Godmanchester Town won 9-0 at St Ives Rangers Black Sox and Jayk Mullee of St Ives Rangers Blue Sox matched that feat in his side’s 8-3 success against Somersham.

A much-improved team performance allowed Huntingdon Rowdies Under 13s to collect their first win of the Division A season.

They saw off Somersham 5-0 on a day when they also hit the woodwork a staggering eight times.

Hadley Rodda lobbed the opening goal before Luke Fox, Kyle Antony, Ryley Coppard and man-of-the-match Jay Parr joined him on the scoresheet.

Eaton Socon Under 16s delivered a dominant derby display in Division A.

New signings Joe Gore, Toby Henson, Dom Smith and Adam Dacey were all given starts in the 7-0 drubbing of Little Paxton Navy.

And Dacey made an instant impact with a hat-trick to lead the Socon charge. Smith also made a goalscoring bow with Luke Crisp, Callum Fielding and Joe Parr getting the other goals.

Godmanchester Rovers Blue Under 12s were the biggest winners in the opening round of fixtures in that age group.

Jai Basra hit a hat-trick in an 11-0 victory against St Ives Rangers White Sox in Division B.

New goalkeeper Freddy England earned the man-of-the-match accolade after keeping a clean sheet in Little Paxton Under 11s fine start to the season.

They beat Brampton Spartans Blue 5-0 in the Panther section as Oliver Flack hit a hat-trick. William Windram and Callum Johnson also found the net.

An Under 15 Division B game was abandoned due to a serious injury.

A Sawtry Yellow Sox player was taken to hospital by ambulance after suffering a dislocated knee in their fixture against Alconbury at Greenfields.

Referee David Seaman called a halt after the incident in the 23rd minute.
