GIRLS living in and around Ramsey are being offered the chance to join new girls' football teams being set up in the town.

A series of training sessions have been arranged culminating in teams entering a county tournament on Saturday, August 19.

The sessions begin with a two-day course on August 1/2 and are arranged in partnership with Huntingdonshire District Council, Hunts FA and Ramsey Town Colts. The course is for 10-16 year olds and will be held at Ramsey Leisure Centre, running from 1-4pm and costing £5 per day.

Following this, a series of free training and trials will be held at Ramsey Town Colts FC on Thursday and Friday evenings in August.
